A relaxed wedding blessing at Hull Minster
Yuan and Dan got in touch just two days before their blessing at Hull Minster.
They had already married in a Las Vegas ceremony (officiated by Elvis) and chose to mark the occasion again in Dan’s hometown, surrounded by a quieter, more familiar setting.
We were only with them for a short time, but it never felt limited.
Getting ready together
They got ready together at a nearby hotel, helping each other with the small moments of preparation. It set the tone for everything that followed - personal, intimate and all about them.
Inside Hull Minster
From there, it was a short walk to Hull Minster, where the light through the stained glass brought a softness to the space as their blessing took place.
It was a simple, thoughtful way to mark the next part of their story—and a privilege to document it, both in photographs and in their featurette film.
